As a technologist and leader in the technology industry, I often ponder the role of technology in society. As the head of a company with over 150 employees, it is my duty to ensure that our technology solutions push us towards operational excellence. But why do we invest so much money and time in technology?

For thousands of years, the most productive members of society have been those with superior organizational skills. This has shaped the way society functions, as those with a more creative mindset have often struggled to fit into traditional societal structures.
